Marc Swerdlow
President
Marc brings more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry primarily focused on multifamily and is an attorney. As President, Marc is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Grand Peaks specifically focusing on the execution of the company’s business plan and key strategies.
Marc joined Grand Peaks in June 2022. Before that, he was the President and General Counsel at Forum Real Estate Group in Denver since moving to Denver in June of 2018. The rest of Marc’s career was centered in Chicago where he was Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Chicago-based Magellan Investment Partners where he oversaw investor relations, asset management, reporting, outsourcing and all back-office functions. Marc was also Partner, President and General Counsel at Waterton Associates for 13 years where he was responsible for the growth of the firm to over 22,000 units and 11 hotels while directly responsible for raising in excess of $2B in equity; Senior Risk Manager at GE Capital Real Estate; and, Senior Vice President of Closings and Due Diligence at Heitman Financial.
Marc holds a J.D. from DePaul University School of Law and a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Iowa.
