Leasing Consultant

Primary Job Responsibilities

As a full-time leasing consultant, you will contribute to realizing our goals by interacting directly with residents, new prospective residents, and a diverse team of property management professionals. Full-time employees can enjoy a competitive base pay, commission paid for every new lease and shared commission for every renewal. All bonuses are paid bi-weekly so there’s no waiting for a commission check to come in!  Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Resident retention through positive interaction and superb customer service
  • Leasing of new apartment homes to prospective residents
  • Guiding prospective residents through the application process which includes a grand tour of our community, gathering all pertinent information on the TAA application, properly qualifying them with background and credit checks, and preparing all lease paperwork for final signatures.
  • Caring for office space, model apartments, and grounds so that they are in the best of condition at all times
  • Working happily in a team environment to guarantee all sales and occupancy goals are met
  • Learning the details and intricacies of each floor plan the property offers to ensure proper communication with prospective residents
  • Preparation of leases, renewals, and move-in materials
  • Answering phones and emails articulately and professionally

 Required Education and Job Experience:

  • High School or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year apartment leasing experience
  • Use of property management software (Yieldstar and Blue Moon required, OneSite preferred)
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) knowledge
